Are kids welcome?

While the wedding and reception will be adults-only, families are more than welcome to turn their trip into a memorable family vacation. Please keep in mind, childcare will not be provided.

Your support is greatly appreciated, and we can't wait to celebrate with you all!

Is the wedding outdoors?

The ceremony will be beachfront so this will be outside. Typically November offers cooler temperatures and a nice breeze.

The cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor.

The reception will be indoor with air conditioner.

What's the timeline for the day?

Ceremony: 4 - 5pm

This will be beachfront. Fans will be provided in your chair.

Cocktail Hour: 5 - 6pm

This will be located in the lounge area outside of the reception. It will be indoor/outdoor. There will be drinks and appetizers served.

Reception: 6pm - Midnight

This will be in the ballroom and will have air conditioner.

What day should I arrive?

If you are in the wedding or immediate family, you should plan to arrive Thursday, October 31st.

If you are a guest, then plan to arrive Friday, November 1st.

Which airport should I fly into? What are the airline options?

You will fly into Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (SJU).

American Airlines offers direct flights from DFW.

Frontier Airlines also offers direct flights from DFW and is typically more budget friendly. Please keep in mind that carry-ons and bags are added charges so make sure to include this in your calculations.

Southwest Airlines is another great option that is budget friendly & you get 2 free checked bags. They do not offer a direct flight from DFW, there is typically a connection in either Houston or Orlando.

If you're feeling extra "adventurous"... Spirit Airlines does offer direct flights as well. Fly at your own risk lol.

You can search flight options using Google Flights.

We recommend to book flights as soon as possible as these do fill up fast and the longer you wait typically the more expensive the flight

How do I get to the hotel & do I need a car rental?

The hotel is Wyndham Palmas Beach and Golf Boutique Resort.

Address: 170 Candelero Dr, Humacao, 00791, Puerto Rico

You will need a car rental for transportation as there is no public transportation available. Additionally you can take a taxi or use Uber. You can also arrange transportation with the hotel directly upon reserving.

We recommend booking your car rental before your arrival to ensure availability. You can book your car rental through travel sites like Expedia.

Once you have your car rental, you will need to drive to the hotel. We recommend putting the address in Google Maps or Waze (preferred app) for the best directions.

Once you arrive at the Palmas Community, you will need to drive through the security guard station and let them know you are staying at the hotel or an airbnb inside Palmas. You can let them know you are in town for a wedding.

There is only one entrance and exit for the community. This is a really safe community to stay in.

BEACH & EXCURSIONS

Trova beach

This is where the ceremony will be and is a great place to lounge by the water.

IMPORTANT: The beach at Palmas has dangerous rip tides and we don't recommend swimming there.

You can explore excursions and other offerings for the hotel here

What beaches are nearby to visit?

Puerto Rico has tons of beautiful beaches! Here's a few of our favorites that aren't too far from Palmas.

Luquillo Beach

This beach is about 50 minutes driving from the hotel and is a great place to swim. There's tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping right along the beach. You can also rent jet skis.
Click here to see the location.

Punta Bandera (Luquillo)

This is our absolute favorite beach to go to, and you'll see why if you go. At the very end of Playa Azul you'll be able to walk to this beach and enjoy.

Click here to see the location.

Seven Seas Beach

This is about a 40 minute drive from the hotel and is one of the public beaches. There's an entry fee of $5 which covers parking. You can rent snorkel gear, kayaks, or paddle boards. It's a great spot for swimming as the water is really calm.

Click here to see the location.

Playa Escondida

At the far end of Seven Seas Beach there's a trail you can take to get to a couple other beaches. It's about a 10-15 minute walk, very easy. One that we like a lot is Playa Escondida. The water is calm and shallow so it's the perfect spot to put your chair in the water and relax.
